The term of “Bad’a” literarily means the manifestation of a hidden matter. In the language of theology it means the conversion of a decision to another.
Although Bad’a is not attributed to God in the Holy Quran, but in the narrations of the Infallible Imams it is attributed to Him is several cases. The interpretation of Bad’a by Mukhtar caused cavilers to chastise all Shiites. The prominent Shiite scholars have interpreted and explained Bad’a in the light of the Holy Quran’s verses and the traditions and proved the occurrence of it logically and reasonably.
