Believing in Justice, which is one of the issues concerned to Divine Acts, has an adventurous background in Islamic history from both ideological and practical aspects. Justice was so important for people at the beginning of Islam that it became a widespread expression; monotheism and justice are 'Alawīs, and anthropomorphism and compulsion are Umawīs. Meaning that, justice and monotheism are the principles that Imam Ali (A.S.) and his family believe in, and, in the contrary, anthropomorphism and compulsion are accepted principles of banī Umayyah. Following the holy Imams (A.S.), Imamiyah and Mu‘tazilah theologians stood for the principle of justice (‘Adl) and were called as ‘Adlīyah. But, Ash‘arites, by presenting an especial interpretation of Divine Justice, rejected the common and rational meaning of Justice. Ash‘arites believe it is possible that God sends all faithful people to the Hell and enters all sinners in the Paradise, and even in this case His act would be very Justice.
